Senior PR & Social Strategist - Flint Group

RR46

Fargo, ND • On-site

Full-time

Posted 18 days ago

Job description

At Flint Group, we believe the strongest brands are built through meaningful connections, compelling stories, and strategies that meet audiences where they are. As a Senior Strategist on our PR + Social Team, you'll help shape how our clients show up in the world, developing integrated strategies that build awareness, strengthen reputations, engage audiences, and drive results.
Ideally, this role will be based in one of our Fargo, Duluth, or Kansas City offices, providing opportunities for in-person collaboration.
What You'll Do
  • Lead the development and execution of integrated PR and social strategies that align with client objectives and elevate brand visibility.
  • Mentor and support developing Integrated Media Team members, helping strengthen strategic thinking, elevate the work, and build team capabilities.
  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to clients, bringing forward ideas, insights, trends, and opportunities across social media, reputation management, and earned media.
  • Design and oversee multi-platform content strategies that bring together PR narratives and social storytelling in a cohesive, meaningful way.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, creators, influencers, community partners, and other industry voices to create meaningful opportunities for clients.
  • Write and edit high-impact communications, including press releases, thought leadership pieces, executive social content, and other strategic materials.
  • Bring together internal teams to solve challenges, uncover opportunities, and deliver connected, effectively executed work.
  • Define meaningful measures of success and lead the analysis of PR and social performance, translating data and insights into clear recommendations that strengthen the work.
  • Contribute to new business opportunities and help demonstrate the value of Flint Group's integrated PR and social capabilities.

What You Bring
  • Strong experience developing and executing integrated PR and social media strategies across multiple platforms and audiences.
  • The ability to see beyond individual channels and connect PR, social, creative, paid media, and broader marketing efforts into a cohesive strategy.
  • Experience thoughtfully integrating AI into work, with sound judgment around when and how to use it, a commitment to accuracy and client confidentiality, and an understanding that AI should enhance strategic thinking, not replace it.
  • A talent for finding the story that matters and translating it into compelling content for different audiences, and platforms.
  • The ability to define success, interpret campaign performance, and turn data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate strategies, ideas, and insights to clients and internal teams.
  • The ability to understand a client's business, audience, industry, and objectives and use that knowledge to identify opportunities and provide meaningful strategic counsel.
  • Comfort working across multiple clients, projects, and priorities while maintaining a high standard of quality.

Why You'll Love Working With Us
At Flint Group, you'll have the opportunity to do more than execute a PR plan or manage a social channel. You'll shape strategies, influence how brands tell their stories, and collaborate with talented people across disciplines to create work that makes an impact.
  • Your perspective will matter. We want senior strategists who ask questions, challenge assumptions, spot opportunities, and make the work better.
  • You won't work in a PR + social silo. You'll collaborate with other strategists, creatives, media experts, analysts, account leaders and other specialists to solve client challenges from different angles.
  • You'll get variety. Different clients, industries, audiences and challenges will keep you learning and give you opportunities to stretch beyond what you already know.
  • You'll have room to lead. Bring your expertise, mentor developing talent, take ownership of the work and help shape how our team continues to evolve.
  • You'll keep growing.
We value people who stay curious, experiment with new approaches and share what they're learning with the people around them.
  • We live our values. Our values influence
how we show up for our clients, our teammates, and our communities.
