Job description

Managing Consultant, Business Transformation & Program Management

Department: Business Enablement

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: Atlanta

Description

Thought Logic Consulting is a functionally‑led, digitally enabled consultancy that exists at the intersection of business transformation and technology innovation. We partner with clients to solve their most complex business problems and we do it in a highly collaborative, local‑market approach, giving clients senior‑level attention and giving our consultants room to grow, lead, and build.

The Role

We're looking for consulting athletes: versatile senior consultants who can move fluidly between business transformation, project leadership, and change enablement. These are people who don't stay in one lane. They've done project and program management and know how to show up to a complex client problem without all the answers and figure it out.

This role is for someone who thrives in ambiguity, client‑facing pressure, and cross‑functional chaos. You'll lead transformation initiatives that blend technology, process, and people. You'll build client trust, not just manage timelines, and bring a builder's mentality to everything you touch.

What You'll Do
  • Lead end‑to‑end business and technology transformation initiatives for clients across diverse industries
  • Shape project approach and delivery methods based on client context, not cookie‑cutter playbooks
  • Navigate ambiguity, bring structure to chaos, and define clear paths forward when scope, teams, or timelines shift
  • Partner with C‑suite and executive stakeholders to align initiatives with business strategy and organizational readiness
  • Design and execute change management strategies that stick: communications, adoption planning, stakeholder engagement, and organizational alignment
  • Flex between deep project mechanics (roadmaps, dependencies, risks) and strategic business conversations (why this matters, what we're enabling)
  • Lead cross‑functional teams through technology implementations, operational redesigns, or enterprise‑wide change programs
  • Diagnose what's not working, whether it's process, technology, people, or governance, and build solutions that address root causes
  • Coach and develop junior consultants, modeling what good client leadership and consulting craft looks like
Who You'll Work With
  • Senior client leaders who value consultants that think strategically and deliver pragmatically
  • Practice leaders across Business Enablement, EPM, Data & Analytics, People & Change, and other capabilities who collaborate to solve multifaceted problems
  • A consulting team that values intellectual curiosity, resourcefulness, and doing right by clients—even when it's hard
  • Leadership that empowers you to own your work, make decisions, and grow your career with intention
What You'll Bring
  • 5–8+ years of experience in management consulting, advisory services, or boutique/specialist consulting firms
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross‑functional transformation programs: technology‑enabled change, operational redesign, or large‑scale implementations
  • A toolkit that includes project/program management, change management, process design, and enough technical fluency to speak intelligently with IT and business teams
  • Experience with delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid) and the judgment to know when to use which approach
  • Exposure to enterprise platforms or transformation areas such as ERP, CRM, cloud migrations, data and analytics, digital operations, or organizational change initiatives
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills: you can synthesize complexity, influence stakeholders, and hold the room with C‑level clients
  • A proactive, solution‑oriented mindset: you see problems three steps ahead and bring options, not just escalations
  • Comfort leading in uncertainty: you don't need perfect information to move forward, and you know how to make smart calls under pressure
  • An entrepreneurial edge: you're energized by building, not just executing someone else's plan
Why Thought Logic
  • Work on transformations that matter, not slide decks that sit on shelves
  • Real responsibility and ownership over how work gets delivered and how clients experience us
  • Direct access to firm leadership and influence over how we grow and evolve
  • A culture that values depth over optics, outcomes over activity, and people over process
  • The chance to grow your career in a firm that's scaling thoughtfully and intentionally, not just chasing growth for growth's sake
