Executive Administrator


The Executive Administrator is a highly trusted professional responsible for executive support, office administration, organizational development, business process improvement, technology adoption, and coordination of employee-related administrative and HR processes.

This position serves as the primary administrative partner to the CEO and leadership team and plays a critical role in supporting organizational efficiency through communication, project coordination, process improvement, and effective use of modern technology and AI-powered tools.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, technologically savvy, solutions-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and accountability.

This is a full-time, in-office position based in Johnstown, Colorado.

Responsibilities of Executive Administrator

Executive & Leadership Support

Provide high-level administrative support to the CEO and leadership team, including calendar management, meeting coordination, communications, travel arrangements, document preparation, and follow-through on key priorities and commitments.

Employee & HR Administrative Coordination

Support employee-related administrative processes by coordinating onboarding, offboarding, recruiting activities, benefits communication, personnel documentation, and collaboration with Backbone Fiber's third-party HR provider.

Office Administration & Organizational Support

Manage day-to-day office administration, company records, vendor relationships, office resources, internal communications, and administrative systems that support efficient business operations.

Business Projects & Process Improvement

Coordinate administrative projects and organizational initiatives, assist with process documentation, and support leadership in maintaining efficient and scalable business practices.

Technology & Administrative Systems

Utilize and support business productivity tools and administrative technologies that improve communication, organization, efficiency, and automation across the office.

Meeting Management & Leadership Coordination

Coordinate leadership and company meetings, prepare agendas and materials, document action items, and ensure timely follow-up on key initiatives.

Financial & Administrative Support

Assist with administrative financial activities, including invoice processing, expense tracking, reporting support, vendor coordination, and maintenance of confidential business records.

Additional Responsibilities

Perform other duties and special projects as assigned in support of Backbone Fiber's continued growth and success.

  • Experience supporting executives, business owners, or leadership teams

  • Comfortable learning and utilizing AI-powered productivity tools and emerging business technologies
