Title: Account Executive (AE)

General Responsibilities:
The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for achieving the expected level of sales and booked grossย
margin dollars (BGM$) in the market he/she is responsible for. The AE is responsible for the overallย
sales production and growth of their identified accounts and markets as established in their annualย
individual sales targets and strategy plans. This position is responsible for the production andย
communication between the company and the customers with producing accurate and high-qualityย
estimates, proposals, and agreements between the company and our customers.ย
Our clientโs business is in a growth plan and the individualโs targets are identified annually in eachย
AEโs Incentive Agreement. An AEโs primary responsibility is to identify accurate scope of work andย
pricing options as well as secure and increase the Booked Gross Margin Dollars annually for theirย
responsible markets and accounts.
To accomplish our objective, our client has established this Account Executive position to drive successย
through growth of the business.ย
Major Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain decision making level relationships with the following:
โช Owners.
โช Engineers.
โช Architects.
โช General Contractors.
โช Mechanical Contractors.
On the fly, negotiating win/win solutions:
โช Understand the customerโs & the businessโ desired outcomes, budgets, and funding.
โช Responsible for all sales issues with their accounts โ both external & internal.
โช Customer contract reviews.
โช Customer site visits.
โช Perform customer visits, lunch & learns, & events.
โช Support business in areas where you bring knowledge, experience and expertise.
Manage accounts & other support items:ย
โช Support the BDM with the sales forecast for the region.
โช Ensure a continuous flow of successful business opportunities.
โช Maintain effective account coverage monthly.ย
โช Support BDM with Subcontractors List.
โช Perform needed customer surveys.
โช Estimate and develop a company standard proposal for all offers made to our customersย
in the established territory and accounts that the AE is responsible for.ย
โข Markets:
โช Develop a strategic plan to grow each market annually based on established growthย
goals.
โช Identify and expand the targeted customers.ย
โช Identify and communicate market opportunities.
โช Support BDMโs with information on resource forecasts.
โช Attend and participate in local trade shows and other market events.
โช Provide monthly sales reports & forecasts.
โข Marketing:
โช Support BDMโs with flagship properties.
โช Support BDMโs to develop and maintain flagship properties.
โช Provide and distribute marketing collateral and presentation materials.
โช Provide and participate in customer visits and weekly lunch and learns.
Infrastructure, Communication, & Unity:
โช Utilize the standardized company estimating and proposal process and format tools.
โช Ensure that all customer and project related information is maintained in the companyย
CRM system.
โช Manage the flow of information for all job booking processes.
โช Ensure the historical side of sales by assuring that all documentation is maintainedย
properly on 365, SharePoint and other standard company platforms.
โช Ensure the proper implementation of all company standards, procedures andย
productivity tools.
โช Attend all required and needed meetings to achieve business success.
โช Maintain timely communications and harmonious relationships between teamย
members.ย
Quality Control & Support:
โช Maintain working knowledge of the companyโs product lines and solutions.ย
โช Communicate with and support our operation teams to best serve our customers andย
fellow employees to achieve a successful and profitable business.
โช Gather customer feedback. Work with operations to ensure a high level of customerย
satisfaction.
โช Follow all company policies.
Account Executive Position Required Knowledge, Skills, Education, and Experience:
โข Bachelorโs degree in related educational fields is preferred.
โข 2 years of experience in HVAC sales.
โข Must have relationship selling skills.
โข Understanding of the buy/sale hierarchy and how to deliver winning strategies within it.
โข Ability to negotiate successful outcomes for both customers and the business.ย
โข Excellent listening and comprehension ability.
โข Excellent oral and written communication skills.
โข Excellent organizational skills.ย
โข Effective at managing multiple sales projects simultaneously.
โข Proficient in Microsoft Platforms and CRM Systems
