Plumb Supply Company has an opportunity for a dependable person with a great attitude, attention to detail, and a team player to join their Laurie, MO team. We offer opportunities for growth and advancement within the company, competitive pay, paid vacation, paid time off, and health insurance.

This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, with overtime as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Consult with customers both in person and over the phone to analyze both current and future needs to determine the most appropriate level of service/sales
  • Demonstrate comprehensive company product knowledge to customers and effectively articulate the company's competitive advantage
  • Load and unload trucks using dollies, dolly carts, forklifts, and other tools as needed
  • Unload, inspect, store, and shift incoming product
  • Scan, pick, and load customer orders
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Local deliveries to customers' shops or job sites
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Plumbing and/or HVAC knowledge preferred
  • Great communication skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain a professional working relationship with co-workers, supervisors, and customers both in person and over the phone
  • Strong PC skills with Microsoft knowledge
  • Ideal candidate must be successful, highly motivated, goal-oriented, and have excellent time management skills
  • Must pass pre-employment testing (drug screen, background check, and driving record check)
