Job description

WHAT WE DO MATTERS:
At The Knot Worldwide, we champion celebration - and that starts with celebrating our people. Our employees are passionate dreamers, thoughtful doers, and lifelong learners who power meaningful moments for millions around the world. We're united by authentic connection, shared purpose, and a deep commitment to the global community we serve. Here, flexibility and belonging go hand in hand with high performance. Driven by our core values, we believe the best ideas come from empowered teams: those who consistently collaborate with intention to design solutions, spark ideas, and drive impact. Our people are at the heart of our success.
ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM
As a Strategic Account Executive at Global Media Business, The Knot Worldwide, you will be at the center of our most meaningful commercial media relationships, serving as a trusted strategic partner to advertisers and agencies across our portfolio of iconic brands. You will build and grow long-term partnerships grounded in a deep understanding of your clients' businesses, crafting media solutions that are custom-built to their goals and designed to perform.
This is a consultative, relationship-first media sales role. You will work across TKWW's full ecosystem of premium content, high-intent audiences, technology, and data driven advertising solutions to design multi-product programs that unlock meaningful value for clients and drive sustained revenue growth for the business. You will be a connector: between client objectives and TKWW capabilities, between long-term strategy and quarterly execution, and between internal teams and external partners.
We are looking for someone who earns trust through expertise and follow-through, who brings proactive ideas to every client conversation, and who measures success by the depth and durability of the partnerships they build.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Own a book of business spanning senior advertiser and agency relationships, with accountability for media revenue growth, year-over-year expansion, and long-term partner retention across your territory.
  • Drive continuous revenue growth across existing accounts and net-new clients through a strategic mix of traditional media executions and bespoke, custom partnership opportunities.
  • Serve as the primary strategic point of contact for your clients, orchestrating complex, multi-stakeholder engagements and designing integrated programs that map directly to each partner's business objectives and performance metrics.
  • Build executive-level relationships with decision makers and budget holders across clients and agencies, establishing yourself as a credible, indispensable advisor on their commercial strategy.
  • Architect multi-product, multi-year commercial media partnerships that draw on the full depth of TKWW's ecosystem, including premium content, high-intent audiences, proprietary data, and emerging ad products.
  • Lead cross-functional teams spanning Integrated Marketing, Editorial, Data, and Product to design and deliver bespoke programs that require a level of integration and customization well beyond standard media executions.
  • Identify and pursue net-new revenue opportunities within existing accounts and across your territory, using market intelligence, category expertise, and insight-led pitching to open doors at the most senior levels.
  • Act as a strategic intelligence hub: translate client feedback, competitive signals, and market trends into actionable recommendations for internal product, pricing, and go-to-market decisions.
  • Lead the development of high-stakes proposals, RFP responses, and joint business plans that require original strategic thinking, creative problem-solving, and tight alignment across internal partners.
  • Craft compelling pitch decks and sales assets tailored for high-impact prospecting and client meetings.
  • Own revenue forecasting and pipeline strategy for your book of business, providing leadership with accurate, forward-looking visibility and proactively flagging risks and opportunities.

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES HAVE
  • 4 or more years of experience in digital media, advertising sales, or a consultative B2B sales role, with a demonstrated track record of closing complex, high-value programs.
  • Background at a leading publisher, media company, or technology or social media platform, with experience navigating longer-cycle, senior-level selling environments.
  • Proven ability to build and grow executive-level client relationships over time, with revenue expansion and strong renewal rates as evidence of that impact.
  • A genuine consultative mindset: you listen first, bring ideas grounded in client business challenges, and build solutions that map to measurable outcomes.
  • Resourcefulness and comfort with complexity; you thrive when building programs that require creativity, cross-functional coordination, and a high degree of customization.
  • Deep fluency in the digital advertising landscape, including programmatic, direct, content integrations, and data-driven targeting solutions.
  • Experience managing sophisticated opportunity pipelines in Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills across all levels of an agency or client organization.
  • Bridal, baby, or lifestyle category experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Willingness to travel as the role demands.
WORK MODEL:
This role is Together@TKWW-eligible and based near one of our office hubs. You'll be expected to work in the office two days a week as part of our hybrid work model.
