About the Role

LifeMD is seeking a highly strategic and customer-obsessed Director of UX to lead experience design across patient experiences, physician workflows, and end-to-end digital care journeys.

This role will play a critical part in shaping how patients discover, access, engage with, and continue care across LifeMD's healthcare platform. You will design experiences that improve trust, accessibility, engagement, provider efficiency, and long-term healthcare outcomes while helping scale one of the fastest-growing digital healthcare ecosystems in the industry. The ideal candidate combines strong UX craft, systems thinking, customer empathy, healthcare workflow understanding, and data-informed design decision making.

What You'll Do

  • Lead end-to-end UX design initiatives across patient acquisition, onboarding, consultation, treatment, pharmacy, and longitudinal care journeys
  • Design intuitive and scalable physician and provider experiences that improve operational efficiency and care delivery workflows
  • Create user flows, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs across web and mobile healthcare experiences
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Clinical Operations, Analytics, Growth, and Compliance teams to shape customer-centric healthcare experiences
  • Use customer research, behavioral analytics, and experimentation insights to improve patient engagement, retention, conversion, and satisfaction
  • Design AI-enabled healthcare experiences including personalization, intelligent workflows, recommendations, and automated engagement touchpoints
  • Contribute to scalable design systems and accessibility standards across LifeMD's digital ecosystem
  • Advocate for human-centered, compliant, and data-informed design practices across healthcare experiences

Requirements

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of UX/Product Design experience designing complex digital products and customer experiences
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end customer journey thinking and scalable systems design
  • Experience designing healthcare, telehealth, SaaS, marketplace, or highly regulated digital experiences preferred
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design methodologies, interaction design, information architecture, and accessibility principles
  • Experience using analytics, experimentation, and behavioral insights to inform UX decisions
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled product experiences and intelligent workflow design is a plus
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and operate effectively in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
