About Our Family
We are a high-octane, direct couple with demanding professional schedules and a full, intentional life. We run multiple businesses, have a fast-paced life where work never stops, and are adventurous and outdoorsy. We are deeply committed to our health and well-being, which shapes how we eat, how we maintain our home, and how we live. Non-toxic products, organic whole foods, and clean living are the standard here, not the exception. We require strong communication, proactive ownership, because time is limited and we hope to spend the time we have focused on experiences as a family.
We are expecting our first child in July, and our household is about to grow in the most exciting way. We operate two properties - a primary home in San Francisco and an expansive ranch in Woodside - and we move between them. SF during weekdays, Ranch on weekends. Our social life is active: weekly dinners and brunches, large gatherings seasonally of 100s of people, and a rotating circle of friends we love entertaining. We have existing household support in place, including a live-in nanny and a regular cleaning team, but we are looking for one sharp, capable person to serve as the connective tissue across all of it.
We communicate directly and value agency and strong communication. We are looking for a highly professional operator, someone who can see what needs to happen, build the system to make it happen, and execute without being asked twice. Looking for a long term fit for both parties. We value high initiative, high proactivity, clear communication, and ownership.
Who You Are / What We're Looking For
You are a seasoned, highly capable professional who brings both executive-level support expertise and a genuine desire to help a household thrive. Resourceful, proactive, and solutions-oriented, you naturally think several steps ahead, anticipate needs before they arise, and take pride in creating order, efficiency, and peace of mind for the people you support.
You possess the mindset of a best-in-class Executive Household Manager-exceptionally organized, polished, discreet, and skilled at managing complex schedules, projects, logistics, vendors, and competing priorities. You thrive in dynamic environments, remain calm under pressure, and excel at building systems, improving processes, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. You are highly tech-savvy, embrace modern tools and AI platforms such as ChatGPT and Claude, and leverage technology thoughtfully to enhance productivity and decision-making.
You are an excellent communicator and manager with strong judgment, professionalism, and unwavering confidentiality. You are comfortable navigating sensitive situations, representing the family with warmth and confidence, and managing both expected and unexpected challenges with grace.
You understand how to seamlessly transition between executive support and family support, bringing the same level of professionalism, attentiveness, and care to both.
You are adaptable, energetic, and comfortable with changing priorities. Direct communication and feedback are welcomed, not feared. You understand that exceptional support sometimes requires flexibility outside traditional business hours, occasional travel, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves wherever needed.
Most importantly, you take ownership. You do not wait to be directed-you observe, anticipate, recommend, and execute. You are motivated by helping a household operate at its highest level and derive genuine satisfaction from being an indispensable, trusted partner who makes life easier, calmer, and more enjoyable for the family you support.
