What You'll Do as a Banquet Cook:

  • Prepare Exceptional Cuisine: Skillfully prepare and cook menu items to exact standards, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
  • Maintain a Top-Notch Kitchen: Keep your station clean, organized, and efficient, upholding the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
  • Be a Team Player: Assist fellow cooks and kitchen staff in achieving seamless service during events, fostering a positive and high-energy work environment.
  • Learn and Grow: Stay on top of food trends and bring creative ideas to enhance our culinary offerings.
  • Support Training Efforts: Help train new and existing kitchen staff in techniques and kitchen best practices.
Requirements:

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience Matters: At least 2 years of experience in a professional culinary setting.
  • Certifications: Must be ready to obtain an Idaho Food Handlers Permit (available online for free) or already hold a ServSafe certification.
  • Culinary Skills: Strong knife skills, familiarity with kitchen equipment, and a deep understanding of food safety in high-volume environments.
  • Team-Oriented: Excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering excellent service in a collaborative setting.


Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks, handle kitchen equipment safely, and withstand hot and busy kitchen conditions.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
