Job description

About Jumeirah

Jumeirah, a global leader in luxury hospitality and a member of Dubai Holding, operates an exceptional portfolio of 29 properties across 11 countries in the Middle East, Europe, and Asia. In 1999, Jumeirah changed the face of luxury hospitality with the opening of the iconic Jumeirah Burj Al Arab and the brand is now renowned worldwide for its distinguished beachfront resorts, esteemed city hotels and exclusive residences. From the contemporary Maldivian island paradise at Jumeirah Olhahali Island to the art-inspired Jumeirah Capri Palace in Italy and the modern twist on a British classic at Jumeirah Carlton Tower in London, the brand has become synonymous with warm and generous service and the ability to craft distinctive and purposeful experiences that bring joy to guests from across the world.

About Jumeirah Jabal Omar

Located just minutes from Masjid Al Haram, Jumeirah Jabal Omar Makkah offers a seamless blend of comfort, connectivity, and Arabian hospitality in the heart of the Holy City. Spread across four towers, the hotel features a range of dining venues, retail outlets, a gym, executive lounge and meeting spaces. Guests can enjoy views of the Grand Mosque and a culinary offering that spans Mediterranean, Persian, Middle Eastern and Southeast Asian cuisines.

About the Job

An opportunity has arisen for Hotel Manager (Saudi National) to join Jumeirah Jabal Omar

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Lead the heartbeat of daily hotel operations across Rooms, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office and other key departments, mobilising teams to deliver exceptional service, operational precision and consistently elevated guest and colleague experiences.
  • Assume full operational leadership in the absence of the General Manager, providing clear direction, confident decision-making and strong cross-functional coordination to ensure the hotel continues to perform seamlessly and in true alignment with Jumeirah's service philosophy.
  • Embed a culture of quality, accountability, health, safety, environment and compliance across all operational areas, ensuring property-specific procedures, policies and standards are lived consistently to protect brand integrity and enable exceptional guest experiences.
  • Champion a guest-first culture by listening closely to feedback, monitoring satisfaction and service standards, and transforming insights into meaningful actions that elevate loyalty, service delivery and memorable, world-class experiences.
  • Take ownership of operational performance, stakeholder engagement, people leadership and financial delivery by building strong partnerships, developing departmental leaders, consolidating the operations budget and driving results against agreed commercial and operational targets.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Minimum 12 years' experience in luxury hospitality, including proven leadership experience within hotel operations and preferably gained with an international luxury hospitality company.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or a related discipline from an accredited university.
  • A strong track record in operational, commercial and financial leadership, with the ability to elevate guest satisfaction, strengthen service standards and translate business priorities into measurable performance.
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end hotel operations, quality frameworks and luxury service standards, with the discipline to ensure consistency and excellence across every guest touchpoint.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership and decision-making capability, with the confidence to inspire cross-functional teams, build trust with stakeholders and lead with composure in a fast-paced luxury environment; fluent English is essential and Arabic is an advantage.

  • Access to Learning & Development programmes and clear career pathways

  • Colleague discounts on food, beverage, and hotel stays worldwide

  • Health care and insurance benefits

  • Locally competitive salary and incentive structure
