Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Austin, TX seeking an Executive/VIP IT Support Specialist to provide white-glove technology support for executives and key business leaders. This is a highly visible, 100% onsite role supporting Apple and Windows environments, Microsoft 365, mobile devices, and conference room technologies. The ideal candidate combines strong technical troubleshooting skills with exceptional service, professionalism, and discretion in executive-facing environments.
Responsibilities:
* Provide dedicated IT support to executives, VIP users, and leadership teams
* Troubleshoot hardware, software, Microsoft 365, mobile device, and connectivity issues
* Support Apple/macOS, Windows devices, and endpoint technologies
* Manage executive support for Outlook, Teams, MFA, Entra ID, and related Microsoft technologies
* Maintain and support conference rooms, boardrooms, and AV equipment
* Provide real-time support for executive meetings, presentations, and high-profile events
* Perform proactive technology readiness checks and preventative maintenance
* Partner with internal IT teams and vendors to resolve escalated issues
* Assist with device provisioning, onboarding/offboarding, and endpoint management
* Document support procedures and maintain technology standards
* Handle sensitive information with professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion
* Recommend improvements to enhance executive technology services and user experience
REQUIREMENTS:
* 7+ years of experience in desktop support, endpoint support, systems administration, or related IT roles
* Proven experience supporting executives, VIP users, or C-suite stakeholders
* Strong experience supporting Apple/macOS environments
* Hands-on experience supporting Windows operating systems and enterprise end-user technologies
* Experience supporting audio/visual systems and conference room technologies
* Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, networking, mobile devices, and peripheral technologies
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, Exchange Online, and identity management solutions
* Strong understanding of security best practices, confidentiality, and escalation procedures
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
* Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments while maintaining professionalism
* Ability to work onsite in Austin, TX five days per week
Preferred Qualifications:
* Industry certifications including Microsoft, Apple, CompTIA, or related credentials
* Experience supporting boardrooms, executive briefing centers, earnings calls, or other executive-facing environments
* Experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms, Crestron, Cisco, Shure, and ClearOne technologies
* Experience with Microsoft Intune, Jamf, Apple Business Manager, or other endpoint management platforms
* Experience working alongside managed service providers (MSPs) and technology vendors
* Experience supporting environments with security, compliance, or SOX requirements
* Familiarity with Entra ID, MFA, Conditional Access, and identity/access management troubleshooting
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
