Job Title: Program Manager – Document Migration

Job Summary:

Program Manager – Document Migration (Egnyte Experience Required)

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead enterprise-scale document and content migration initiatives, with a strong focus on migrations involving Egnyte and other enterprise content management platforms. The ideal candidate will have expertise in migration strategy, program governance, stakeholder management, and successful delivery of large-scale document repository transformations while ensuring data integrity, security, and regulatory compliance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end document and content migration programs from legacy platforms to cloud-based repositories, including Egnyte.
  • Define migration strategy, roadmap, governance framework, and execution plans.
  • Manage multiple workstreams involving business, IT, security, compliance, and vendor teams.
  • Conduct content inventory assessment, metadata analysis, and migration readiness evaluations.
  • Oversee migrations involving Egnyte, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Box, Google Drive, OpenText, FileNet, and other ECM/DMS platforms.
  • Drive metadata mapping, folder structure rationalization, permissions migration, and records management requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to data governance, retention policies, compliance, and security standards.
  • Manage program risks, dependencies, budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), reconciliation, validation, and cutover activities.
  • Develop executive-level status reports, dashboards, and stakeholder communications.
  • Lead change management, training, and adoption initiatives to ensure business readiness.
  • Establish migration best practices and governance processes for future content management operations.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 10+ years of Program/Project Management experience with enterprise technology initiatives.
  • 5+ years of experience leading large-scale document/content migration programs.
  • Hands-on experience with Egnyte migration projects, including content assessment, migration planning, permissions mapping, and user adoption.
  • Strong understanding of Enterprise Content Management (ECM), Document Management Systems (DMS), and Information Governance.
  • Proven experience managing global cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders.
  • Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of security, compliance, records retention, and data governance principles.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, or Agile certifications.
  • Experience with cloud transformation and digital workplace modernization initiatives.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, GxP, or industry-specific regulations.
  • Experience managing third-party migration vendors and system integrators.
  • Knowledge of enterprise collaboration and productivity platforms.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, or Agile certifications.
  • Experience with cloud transformation and digital workplace modernization initiatives.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, GxP, or industry-specific regulations.
  • Experience managing third-party migration vendors and system integrators.
