Job description

Career Renew is recruiting for one of its clients a Founding Account Executive - AI - this is an onsite role in San Francisco. Salary range: 100-125K USD base (competitive OTE) plus benefits plus founding equity.

We are a Y Combinator–backed startup redefining AI voice agent reliability. Founded by IIT Bombay alumni with research credentials from ETH Zurich and proven success in high-stakes trading, our team built Cekura to solve the cumbersome, error-prone nature of manual voice agent testing.

We automate the testing and observability of AI voice agents by simulating thousands of realistic, real-world conversational scenarios—from ordering food and booking appointments to conducting interviews. Our platform leverages custom and AI-generated datasets, detailed workflows, and dynamic persona simulations to uncover edge cases and deliver actionable insights. Real-time monitoring, comprehensive logs, and instant alerting ensure that every call is optimized and production-ready.

We are looking for a Founding Account Executive with 3+ years of experience selling dev tools or conversational AI products to join Cekura as the first sales hire and architect the GTM engine from $1M to $10M ARR. You'll report directly to the CEO, inherit a strong inbound pipeline (70% of deals are inbound-driven), and write the sales playbook for a YC-backed company that's grown ~7x in the last 7 months — all through founder-led sales.

What will you be doing?

  • Own the full sales cycle end-to-end — from prospecting self-serve signups and outbound leads through demo, negotiation, and close
  • Convert high-intent product signups into demos and paying customers via multi-channel outreach (LinkedIn, email, calls, in-person visits)
  • Build and document the Cekura Sales Playbook — productize founder-led sales motions into repeatable, scalable processes
  • Architect automated outbound workflows using Clay, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and AI tools like Claude
  • Collaborate closely with the engineering team (sitting in-office) to develop deep technical fluency and sharpen product positioning

Key Requirements

  • 3+ years selling dev tools (evals, observability, infra — e.g. Datadog, Braintrust, Galileo, Sentry) or enterprise sales at a conversational AI company (e.g. 11 Labs, Vapi, LiveKit, Sierra)
  • Full-stack AE mentality — comfortable doing your own prospecting, building outbound systems, and closing deals without a support team
  • Daily user of AI tools (Claude, GPT) to automate workflows and treat prospecting like an engineering problem
  • Technical fluency to run deep discovery calls with CTOs and Heads of Engineering on APIs and AI infrastructure
  • Based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco for 5 days in-office; early-stage startup hunger and high agency are non-negotiable
Why you should join us
  • Y combinator–backed with ~7× revenue growth in the last 7 months and a clear path from $1M to $10M ARR.
  • First sales hire with founding equity (0.15%–0.35%) plus $100K–$200K OTE with transparent accelerators — a direct path to GTM leadership.
  • 70% of pipeline is already inbound/marketing-driven — you're systematizing proven product-market fit rather than cold-starting demand.
  • Elite founding team — IIT B, ETH Zürich research and high-stakes trading backgrounds — operating in a fast-expanding AI voice agent market.
  • Premium tooling & learning stipend (Clay, Navigator, etc.) and a small 14-person team where your impact is immediate and visible.
