Job description

Summary:

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for preparing analysis to support fiscal budgets, maintaining & enhancing the system used for budgeting and forecasting, ad-hoc financial analyses, and analysis of monthly financial results. Qualified candidates for this position will have at least 3 years related financial analysis experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, sophisticated analytical and Microsoft Excel skills, and the ability to quickly learn to utilize planning and reporting software. Qualified candidates must also have good communications skills and be able to balance multiple projects and priorities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Creates sophisticated templates, models, and spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel.

  • Updates budget planning system, including updating structure and budget forms as needed (Oracle EPM).

  • Provides analysis for use in budgets and forecasts.

  • Prepares budgets for distribution.

  • Prepares financial reports for management.

  • Prepare any financial analysis as requested.

  • Provides analysis for incorporation into presentations for Board of Director and Shareholder meetings.

  • Provides analysis and assistance with annual financial audit, as needed.

  • Provides support and analysis for maintaining and updating various financial models.

  • Additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.

  • 3 or more years related financial analysis experience or equivalent of education and experience.

  • Extensive analytical skills and experience developing financial models and presentations.

  • Extensive computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

  • Experience working in ERP and EPM systems (Oracle Fusion experience a plus).

  • Must be well organized and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Must be motivated, able to learn independently and work efficiently.
