2008 Business Systems Analyst

Heavy Excel, Data Analysis, Issue Resolution, and Cross-Functional Business/IT Collaboration.

Position Overview

We are looking for a highly analytical Business Systems Analyst to help monitor business processes, identify data issues, investigate system problems, and work with IT teams to ensure issues are resolved.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with large datasets, solving problems, identifying trends, and serving as a bridge between business users and technical teams.

The successful candidate will spend much of their time analyzing reports, validating data, researching issues, creating support tickets, tracking resolutions, and helping improve overall business operations.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor reports and business data for errors, discrepancies, and missing information.
  • Analyze large datasets using Excel and other reporting tools.
  • Investigate data quality issues and identify root causes.
  • Create detailed issue tickets for IT and development teams.
  • Track issues through resolution and validate fixes.
  • Work closely with business users, IT, product, and data teams.
  • Identify recurring problems and recommend process improvements.
  • Maintain issue logs, status reports, and documentation.
