Job Description
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to Guidewire implementations and enhancements from underwriters, product managers, and policy operations teams.
  • Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and other stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of project scope and objectives.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications and workflows aligned with Guidewire modules.
  • PolicyCenter Configuration Alignment: Map out policy lifecycle processes like submissions, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and reinstatements.
  • Product & Rating Setup: Assist in configuring the product model (lines of business, coverages, exclusions) and rating engines/rate tables.
  • Integration & Data Mapping: Define data mapping and integration requirements between PolicyCenter and external systems (BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, or third-party data providers).
  • Support UAT planning, execution, and defect tracking in collaboration with QA teams.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily standups, user story demonstrations, and other Agile ceremonies as required.
  • Strong experience as a Business Analyst in Guidewire Insurance Suite projects.
  • Solid understanding of P&C insurance concepts, coverages, deductibles, and underwriting workflows.
  • Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and process-mapping software like Visio.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
  • Certification in Guidewire or Business Analysis is a plus.
