We are looking for Guidewire Business Analyst - Remote / Telecommute for our client in Lansing, MI

Job Title: Guidewire Business Analyst - Remote / Telecommute

Job Location: Lansing, MI

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:
Pay Range: $50.00hr - $55.00hr
Requirement/Must Have:

  • Strong experience as a Business Analyst in Guidewire Insurance Suite projects.
  • Solid understanding of P&C insurance concepts, coverages, deductibles, and underwriting workflows.
  • Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and process-mapping software like Visio.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and documentation skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to Guidewire implementations and enhancements from underwriters, product managers, and policy operations teams.
  • Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and other stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of project scope and objectives.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications and workflows aligned with Guidewire modules.
  • Map out policy lifecycle processes like submissions, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and reinstatements for PolicyCenter Configuration Alignment.
  • Assist in configuring the product model (lines of business, coverages, exclusions) and rating engines/rate tables.
  • Define data mapping and integration requirements between PolicyCenter and external systems such as BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, or third-party data providers.
  • Support UAT planning, execution, and defect tracking in collaboration with QA teams.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily standups, and user story demonstrations and other Agile ceremonies as required.
