This is a full-time, onsite position based in Fort Lauderdale, FL


If you're an experienced operations leader who thrives in high-volume, fast-paced environments where execution, accountability, and problem-solving matter, this is your opportunity to lead at scale. As our Operations Manager, National Events, you will oversee a critical function responsible for executing thousands of seminars each month across the United States-ensuring the right venues are secured, logistics are aligned, and teams are operating with precision.


In this role, you'll lead and develop a team of Event Specialists while driving operational excellence across a nationwide seminar program. You'll work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and field leadership to ensure seamless coordination, resolve challenges in real time, and continuously improve processes. Supporting a program that delivers more than 5,000 seminars each month, your ability to lead people, optimize operations, and make sound decisions in ambiguous situations will directly impact business performance and growth.

What You Will Do

Reporting to our Sr. Director, Marketing Operations, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, coaching, and developing a team of Event Specialists, setting clear expectations and driving accountability for performance, including achieving 100% monthly venue booking and confirmed reservations.
  • Overseeing nationwide venue sourcing and database management, expanding MASA's network of high-quality venues to support growing market coverage.
  • Directing all booking, confirmation, and scheduling activities to ensure seamless seminar execution while minimizing cancellations, reschedules, and disruptions.
  • Negotiating and approving venue, food, and beverage costs while establishing standardized processes that ensure quality and cost efficiency.
  • Serving as the primary escalation point for venue-related challenges, resolving issues quickly while strengthening long-term partner relationships.
  • Partnering with Sales, State Directors, and Marketing teams to align scheduling, improve coordination, and drive operational efficiencies.
  • Monitoring seminar capacity, utilization, and scheduling to optimize attendance and reduce gaps or inefficiencies.


What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in operations, logistics, or high-volume hospitality, catering, or restaurant environments.
  • 4-6 years of direct people management experience, with a track record of coaching teams and driving performance.
  • Experience managing employee performance and addressing employee relations matters in partnership with HR.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions in fast-paced and ambiguous situations.
  • Proven experience in vendor management and negotiation.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Wrike, Monday.com) preferred.
