Events/Marketing Assistant

Location: Jackson, TN 38305

The Exchange Club - Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse is seeking an Events/Marketing Assistant. The person filling this role will work closely with the Events/Marketing Coordinator in developing and overseeing tasks throughout Center events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with specified committees to plan and execute event-related tasks.
  • Meet with vendors and sponsors prior to events to coordinate logistics and support.
  • Assist with event setup and cleanup to ensure smooth operations.
  • Run errands as needed, including collecting supplies and decorations for events.
  • Work collaboratively with the Board, Exchange Club, Staff, and Volunteers to ensure the development, implementation, and successful completion of events.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, development, fundraising, or a related field.
  • Minimum of one year of related experience.
  • Self-starter with demonstrated leadership qualities.
  • Strong support for teamwork values.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
