Marketing Content SpecialistREPORTS TO: Marketing Director
POSITION TYPE: Full-time
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Marketing Content Specialist is responsible for supporting the various marketing and communication efforts of the Marketing Director, including digital efforts, sales tools, event management, and writing for internal and external audiences.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
  • Omni content capable – video, written, photo
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Suite of products
  • Proficient in Social platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google+ and TikTok
  • Ability to read, speak, and write English in order to fulfill job functions in an understandable way
  • Capable of operating a smart phone and associated applications
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Create social media posts, video tutorials and demonstrations, and other marketing material
  • Primarily involved with the digital and social media marketing for DeNooyer Automotive Family’s group of brands
  • Must be able to work independently, with guidance from the Marketing Director.
  • Assist in group-wide and dealership specific marketing projects and events, many times travelling between the stores daily
  • Compiles data and presents to Marketing Director bi-weekly and monthly
  • Assist with charitable activities and community related events
  • Responds to online dealership reviews and surveys, in partnership with department leadership
  • Able to assist in and maintain CRM content and campaigns
  • Assist in internal events like luncheons, holiday events and sponsored events.
  • Relating positively and courteously with diverse groups of people (customers, visitors, and staff)
Content
  • Creates and maintains content calendar for Google Business Profile, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn, website blog, etc. in conjunction with an outside marketing and content resources
  • Responsible for creating engaging, quality content in a short amount of time as well as planned content throughout each month
  • Creative ability is a must, including writing social content, website content, email campaigns and blogs
  • Ability to create flyers, posters and signs
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ability to handle multiple complex issues with concurrent deadlines
  • Passionately researches industry best practices to help represent DAF in a positive and cutting-edge way
  • Willingness to be photographed and/or filmed for events, commercials, or as needed
  • Design branded marketing materials
  • Comply with all DeNooyer Automotive Family policies and procedures
  • Willing to help and complete all other tasks as assigned by the Marketing Director.

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
  • Ability to withstand various outdoor elements such as: heat and cold, rain, snow, and ice
  • Ability to sit at a computer in an office setting
  • Ability to stand for 2+ hours at a time
  • Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including Saturdays
  • Ability to move throughout multiple business locations
