We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Marketing Director to join our team at The Promenade at Tuxedo Place, a family-owned and operated independent and assisted living community located in the heart of Tuxedo Park, New York. As a Marketing Director, you will play a vital role in promoting our community and foster relationships with qualified referral sources, healthcare professionals, and potential residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop relationships with qualified referral sources, including skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, independent living communities, home care agencies, rehabilitation clinics, doctors, social workers, and discharge planners

  • Generate new leads and manage occupancy and sales goals

  • Follow up on all leads and update Matrixcare CRM system in a timely manner

  • Qualify leads by gathering pertinent information and understanding the level of each potential resident's willingness and readiness to move into the community

  • Showcase the Promenade community to potential residents by conducting tours and providing information based on their unique circumstances

  • Maintain and update the Promenade Customer Relationship Management database

  • Navigate potential residents through the Promenade intake administrative and clinical processes

  • Understand and explain financial and entitlement options for senior living candidates

  • Ensure the community is ready to welcome new residents for their move-in date

  • Collaborate with other departmental leaders on special events and related activities that pertain to marketing to the regional community

  • Effectively communicate and uphold corporate policies and procedures to residents, family members, employees, and other third parties

  • Prepare and execute annual business plans to focus on strategic sales and marketing priorities, occupancy levels, and financial objectives

  • Provide timely reporting on sales and marketing efforts, including detailed status of leads, move-in/out data, occupancy levels, and key performance indicators

  • Create an environment that prioritizes the care, well-being, and dignity of daily living for each resident

  • Maintain a continuous collaboration with residents and family members that conveys the company's utmost commitment to the care, well-being, and quality of life of its residents

Qualifications:

  • Experience in assisted living or healthcare marketing/business development role

  • Proven track record of closing qualified leads and generating key referral relationships

  • Microsoft Office basic computer skills (ie Word/Excel)

  • Bachelor degree in a related field from an accredited academic institution

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to represent Promenade and its values to agencies, partnerships, and the community at large

  • General Sales experience a plus
