Job Summary
The Enrollment Management (EM) Events Manager leads the development, coordination, and execution of high-quality campus visit experiences, including on-campus, off-campus, and virtual events, for prospective students and their families. The role collaborates closely with faculty, staff, and external partners to ensure seamless event support and continuously evaluates visitor satisfaction and enrollment outcomes to guide improvements. The Events Manager also oversees the Event Student Assistants, manage tour & orientation schedules, and provide ongoing training.
The Enrollment Management Events Manager plays a key role in fostering a positive work environment with the expectation of continuous improvement and first-class customer service. This position participates in divisional activities as a member of the Enrollment Management Services Division. Collaborative and team-oriented skills, along with a commitment to student success, are essential attributes for the individual in this position.
Responsibilities
  • Manage the full life cycle of enrollment management recruitment events, including design, planning, staffing, facilitation, execution, and post-event evaluation, while serving as the primary point of contact for campus partners, vendors, and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee the visitation calendar, event registration systems, and all communications associated with enrollment management events, campus tours, group tours, orientation and follow-up outreach.
  • Direct and coordinate all campus tour operations, daily and group, including hosting school and community organizations, and delivering the GGC Welcome presentation.
  • Provide leadership with comprehensive recruitment activity schedules, itineraries, budget details, visitor data, event summaries, assessment results, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage the Enrollment Management Student Assistant Program, including recruitment, training, scheduling, daily responsibilities, and regularly scheduled meetings.
  • Collaborate with Admissions Counselors in planning recruitment and yield events designed to move prospective students through the admissions pipeline.
  • Serve as the EM Events point of contact for 25Live room reservations and related event space logistics.
  • Collaborate regularly with the Enrollment Management marketing committee to develop and coordinate communications, promotional strategies, and event-related materials.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships across Enrollment Management, Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and other campus partners to enhance visit experiences and support divisional initiatives.

Required Qualifications
  • 4 Year / Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 4 or more years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree
  • 2 or more years of admissions, event planning or recruitment experience
  • Admissions and enrollment experience highly preferred
  • Direct experience with admissions CRMs (e.g., Element 451) for event builds, inquiry capture, check-in, and yield communications; familiarity with Banner or similar SIS a plus.
  • Experience developing standard operating procedures (SOPs), and event risk management plans (inclement weather, crowd management, medical incidents), including
  • ADA/accessibility considerations.
  • Familiarity with FERPA, brand guidelines, and data privacy in the context of guest registration, photography, and communications.
  • Valid driver clearance for local travel; ability to lift event materials up to 20 lbs. and support room flips.
  • Bilingual fluency (e.g., Spanish/English) to enhance family engagement.
  • Demonstrated experience planning and executing multiformat (on campus, off campus, and virtual) from concept through post-event assessment, including day of run-of-show and vendor coordination.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team of enrollment management professionals
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills to perform clear, professional public-speaking and presentations
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and events in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service skills, and a positive, cheerful attitude
  • Flexibility to manage changes, cancellations, and last-minute details
  • Able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people

Proposed Salary
45,300 - 56,600
Salary offer will be dependent on candidate's experience and qualifications, internal equity considerations, budget availability, and salary administration guidelines.
