Professionals in event rental often encounter challenges such as tight deadlines, last-minute changes from clients, and logistical coordination with venues and vendors. Effective communication, strong organizational skills, and adaptability are essential to managing these situations. Proactively confirming details, maintaining clear schedules, and having contingency plans in place can help ensure smooth event execution. Collaboration with team members and other departments is also key to overcoming unexpected obstacles and delivering a successful event experience.

What are event rental services?

Event rental services provide equipment and supplies needed to host various types of events, such as weddings, parties, corporate gatherings, and festivals. These services typically offer items like tables, chairs, tents, linens, dinnerware, lighting, and audio-visual equipment. Event rental companies help clients select the right items, deliver and set them up at the venue, and often handle breakdown and pickup after the event. Utilizing event rental services can simplify the planning process and ensure that all necessary items are available for a successful event.

Job description

Cincinnati Event Set Up Crew (Tents) Position
Lasting Impressions Event Rental, a family owned company for over 70 years, is looking to grow our event set up tent crew. We are in search of motivated and hardworking individuals who are interested in beginning a career in event rentals. Candidates with experience in construction or delivery and a high school education are desired, but not required.  While experience in event rentals is valued, no experience is necessary.  We have career paths, company core values and do our best to promote from within the company.

If you love getting your hands dirty and working outside, if you enjoy the sense of accomplishment in seeing a completed project and like doing different things, this job is for you. This job can be physically demanding, and long hours occasionally occur. Our delivery and installation crew is compensated well for those extra hours. Interested candidates must have a flexible schedule during our busy season, which is typically May - October. There is plenty of physical activity involved with this job including walking, bending, and lifting, up to 80 pounds. Reliability, dependability, and willingness to learn are also desired traits for this position.
Lasting Impressions Event Rental is the largest event rental company in the state and is a family-owned business since 1951. All our staff are part of the family. Our core values of professionalism, being client focused, creativity, adaptability, positive outlook and inclusiveness allow us to assist clients in creating unique, memorable lasting impressions for their event guests. We offer paid time off, health, dental and vision benefits as well as a 401K plan. If you are tired of being a number at your current job and want to be part of our event delivery and installation team, then this position is perfect for you.
