Job description

In the role of Party Rental Equipment Delivery, you will be responsible for transporting and setting up rental equipment to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. Reporting to the Manager On Duty/Training Supervisor, you will leverage your core skills in driving and heavy lifting to manage equipment efficiently. Your premium skills in customer service and warehouse experience will enhance client interactions and operational effectiveness. Additionally, your relevant skills in moving and load/unload tasks will be crucial in maintaining the quality and integrity of our rental offerings. Join us to be an essential part of our dynamic delivery team! :-)

Responsibilities also include loading/unloading equipment, delivering, set-up, cleaning, take down, and returning equipment from the job site to the warehouse. You will be responsible for ensuring all safety and operating instructions for the equipment are fully reviewed with the customer. You will deliver to residential parties, schools, churches, and businesses. You may also deliver to fairs, festivals, and large city events. Most deliveries are on the weekends, with many deliveries during the week.

Pay is $20-26/hr in a company truck.


$22-$30/hr in your PERSONAL truck.


Training pay for delivery driver starts at $18/hr.



Requirements:

Live within 30 miles of Rowlett, Texas.

Have a working cell phone

Be familiar with the Dallas area and have a GPS in your car or on your phone.

Be physically fit, and have the strength to move up to 200+ pounds with a dolly

Show a good driving record, proof of insurance and a valid driver’s license.

Must be available on the following PEAK TIME PERIODS (all hands on deck for these periods + holidays listed below) :

  • Month of April
  • Month of May
  • Month of June
  • Month of October, Every October Saturday is REQUIRED
  • First Weekend in November
  • First 2 Weekends in December

Must be available on the following Holidays/Weekend before/of these Holidays:

  • Easter
  • July 4th
  • Halloween

DRIVER PROGRAM:

4 Tiers/Levels of Driver Certifications- MINIMUM 1 YEAR EXCEPTIONAL REPRESENTATION OF CORE VALUES AND ABILITY FOR TIER 4.

Each Driver Tier has a set of guidelines and certifications to meet. Raises are given with each increase in Tier level. Reviews can be as early as 6 months for high performers, but typically occur once a year.
