Season Associate Start Date: October 2026

Season Associate End Date: April 2027

Anticipated Time Commitment: 35-40 hours per week

Position Location: on-site in Indianapolis, IN

Pacers Sports & Entertainment is seeking a season associate who is eager to build a career in event operations. They will report to PS&Eโ€™s event coordinator team and be responsible for assisting with projects in utility set-up, conversion, and housekeeping. This position will work long and unusual hours at times based on the event schedule, which could include evenings, weekends, late nights (third shift), and/or early mornings. An ideal candidate has excellent organization skills, strong communication, and has a demonstrated interest in event management and hospitality.

The Event Production season associate position will begin on or around October 12th, 2026, and conclude on or around April 19th, 2027. Season associates can expect to work approximately 35 โ€“ 40 hours per week. There will be an unpaid winter break from December 21st, 2026 โ€“ January 10th, 2027.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

ยท Participate and assist in the planning, coordination, and implementation of meetings and events at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

ยท Assist the event production staff with administrative needs, game day responsibilities, placing vendor orders, producing weekly meeting sheets for company distribution, and more.

ยท Assist promoters and clients to ensure smooth event operations.

ยท Assist event patrons to ensure they have an enjoyable experience at Gainbridge Fieldhouse events.

ยท Act as the event coordinator during assigned events.

ยท Assist other facilities operations divisions as needed including utility set-up, conversion, housekeeping, etc.

ยท Other duties and projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Must have completed or be in the process of completing a bachelorโ€™s degree in event management, sports management, hospitality, or similar area of study.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Employee should have knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Windows, and Microsoft Word.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to communicate effectively with all types of clients, coworkers, and the general public. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret instructions and reports. Ability to write reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to communicate effectively under pressure and when working under a deadline.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Knowledge to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as making change, analyzing costs, figuring statistics and making area measurements.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret directions.
