Job description

Overview

The Regional Escrow Manager is responsible for overseeing multiple escrow operations within an assigned geographic region, ensuring consistent service delivery, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and financial performance. This role provides leadership to escrow teams, supports business development efforts, and drives process standardization across offices.

Duties

Key Responsibilities-

Operational Leadership: Oversee day-to-day escrow operations across multiple branch offices within the region. Ensure timely and accurate processing of residential and/or commercial escrow transactions. Monitor pipeline performance, closing timelines, and service benchmarks. Implement standardized procedures and best practices across all locations.

Team Management & Development: Directly manage Escrow Managers, Officers, and support staff within the region. Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate escrow personnel. Foster a high-performance, service-oriented culture. Address staffing needs, performance issues, and succession planning.

Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to company policies, state and federal regulations, and underwriter guidelines. Oversee audit preparation and response, including internal and external audits. Maintain compliance with escrow accounting standards, wire procedures, and fraud prevention protocols. Partner with compliance and legal teams to mitigate risk exposure.

Client & Business Development Support: Collaborate with sales leadership and escrow teams to support client retention and growth. Participate in key client meetings, presentations, and strategic account management. Strengthen relationships with real estate agents, lenders, builders, and attorneys. Support marketing initiatives and local market expansion strategies.

Financial Management: Manage regional P&L performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability targets. Analyze branch-level financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Support pricing strategies and fee structures in alignment with market conditions.

Process Improvement & Technology: Drive adoption of technology solutions and automation tools within escrow operations. Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement process improvements. Partner with IT and operations teams on system enhancements and integrations.

Education

California Escrow License (if applicable)

Experience

7-10+ years of escrow experience, with leadership or management responsibility Strong knowledge of title and escrow operations, including closing procedures and escrow accounting Demonstrated experience managing teams across multiple locations In-depth understanding of regulatory compliance and audit requirements Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Additional Information

This position is eligible to earn compensation in the range of $150-$200/annually based on location and job-related factors such as skillset and experience. The base compensation is one component of the total rewards package offered to our employees, including optional health and welfare insurance (medical/dental/vision/life/disability); paid holidays, vacation, and sick time off; and matching 401(k) plan and matching employee stock purchase plan.
