The Epic Revenue Cycle Scheduling and Registration Analyst plays a key role in providing the highest quality of patient care while the patient is in at Union Health.
The Epic Cadence & Prelude Analyst supports the configuration, implementation, and optimization of Epic Cadence (enterprise scheduling) and Prelude (patient registration) modules. This role collaborates with registration, scheduling, front desk, and clinical teams to improve patient access workflows, enhance patient experience, and ensure accurate data capture during registration and appointment scheduling.

EPIC Revenue Cycle Scheduling and Registration Analyst Details
Essential Job Duties:
  • Collaborate with patient access leadership, registration staff, schedulers, and clinical teams to gather workflow requirements and translate them into system configurations
  • Configure and optimize Epic Cadence and Prelude modules to support patient scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and check-in workflows.
  • Support integration between Cadence, Prelude, and other Epic modules (e.g., Billing, Clinical, Reporting).
  • Demonstrate knowledge of scheduling and registration workflows for ambulatory, procedural, and inpatient departments.

Qualifications:
  • Associate or bachelor's Degree Computer Sciences/Information Systems/Business major or equivalent experience with 5+ years' direct experience working with large scale revenue information systems is required.
  • One to two years of Epic application support experience preferred.
  • General understanding of revenue cycle operations, including registration, billing, claims processing, and reimbursement workflows.
  • Progressing towards certification is encouraged.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional clinical and technical teams.
  • Adaptability to changing operational and regulatory needs.
  • Possesses a strong sense of ownership and accountability of work activities to ensure they are completed in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.
  • Resilient under pressure, with the ability to maintain high performance in challenging or time-sensitive situations.
  • Revenue cycle operational background is a plus.
