Job Title: Epic Rehab Analyst Location-Type: Remote (Must work Eastern Time hours; travel required for go-lives and key testing milestones) Start Date: Early August 2026 Duration: Contract, 6 months (extension possible) Compensation Range: $74.59/hr - $87.75/hr W2 Benefits: Eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, and 401K Visa Sponsorship: Not eligible for visa sponsorship Job Description: This role supports an enterprise Epic Rehabilitation implementation by providing dedicated outpatient rehab expertise across workflow design, application build, testing, and go-live activities to ensure successful delivery across a large, multi-site healthcare environment. Job Summary
  • Build and configure the Epic Outpatient Rehabilitation module, focusing on PT, OT, and Speech outpatient workflows from planning through go-live.
  • Collaborate with Cadence/Scheduling, Rev Cycle/Billing, Analytics, and Inpatient teams to ensure a consistent, integrated solution across rehabilitation service lines.
  • Engage operational and clinical leaders across outpatient clinic, inpatient, acute care, and long-term care therapy settings to support workflow design and stakeholder alignment.
  • Participate in weekly application team standups and contribute to build planning, documentation, issue resolution, and integrated testing activities.
  • Produce clear, organized, and sustainable build documentation, including configuration decisions and supporting materials for long-term application ownership.
  • Mentor and onboard the client's full-time application analysts to promote knowledge transfer and support ongoing application support after the engagement concludes.
  • Travel to client sites during key project milestones, integrated testing events, and go-live activities as required (limited travel, currently planned for March or April).
Minimum Requirements:
  • Active Epic Rehabilitation certification with a current Epic Education Badge (or ability to obtain the Epic Outpatient Rehab Badge).
  • Recent, hands-on Epic Rehabilitation implementation experience with a strong focus on outpatient rehabilitation workflows (PT, OT, and/or Speech).
  • Full-cycle Epic implementation experience, covering planning, design, build, testing, and go-live support.
  • Availability to work Eastern Time business hours and willingness to travel for testing and go-live milestones.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Existing Epic Outpatient Rehab Badge.
  • Experience implementing Epic Rehabilitation in a multi-site or enterprise healthcare environment, including both inpatient and outpatient workflows.
  • Familiarity with Cadence/Scheduling, Rev Cycle/Billing, and Analytics workflows within the Epic ecosystem.
  • Prior experience mentoring or serving as a knowledge resource for client application analysts.
  • Experience transitioning organizations from non-Epic EMR platforms into Epic, with 2-3 or more years of contractor or consultant experience preferred.
