Position Summary
Lee Health is seeking an Advanced Application Analyst to support our Epic ASAP (Emergency Department) application. This role is ideal for an experienced Epic professional with strong build expertise who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment.
This position requires a local presence in Fort Myers or willingness to relocate, as the role includes on-site, elbow-to-elbow support for Emergency Department staff across Lee Health facilities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support Epic ASAP application build, optimization, and maintenance
  • Provide hands-on, at-the-elbow support for clinicians in Emergency Departments
  • Collaborate closely with ED clinical staff to enhance workflows and system usability
  • Troubleshoot issues, implement solutions, and support system upgrades and enhancements
  • Support additional applications as needed across the organization
  • Participate in testing, validation, and go-live activities
  • Serve as a key liaison between IT and clinical operations
Required Qualifications
  • Experience with Epic application build and support
  • Strong understanding of clinical workflows, preferably in an Emergency Department setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clinical staff
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Epic ASAP certification or proficiency
  • Prior Emergency Department nursing or clinical experience
  • Experience working in a healthcare IT environment supporting multiple applications
