Technical Sales Representative


Location: Local Territory – In Person

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

A&B Foundry LLC is seeking a motivated and trainable Entry-Level Technical Sales Representative to join our growing team. This position is designed to develop future technical sales professionals by providing hands-on training and real-world exposure to manufacturing sales operations.

This role is ideal for candidates with strong communication skills, mechanical aptitude, and a desire to build a long-term career in consultative technical sales within a manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do

• Support senior sales representatives with RFQs, proposals, and customer follow-ups

• Participate in customer meetings and assist with technical documentation and action items

• Build foundational knowledge of products, materials, manufacturing processes, and blueprint reading

• Assist with preparing accurate quotes and maintaining CRM records

• Learn consultative selling techniques and support pipeline development

• Coordinate with engineering and production teams to support customer requirements

Must-Have Skills and Experience

• High school diploma required (associate degree or technical certificate preferred)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Mechanical aptitude or hands-on experience in a shop, machining, or fabrication environment preferred

• Willingness to learn technical concepts and sales processes

• Valid driver’s license required

• Ability to travel locally

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Previous exposure to manufacturing, industrial sales, or technical environments

• Experience reading basic engineering drawings or blueprints

• Familiarity with CRM systems or sales tracking tools

• Customer-facing experience in technical or industrial settings
