** Job Description**

The Livestream Operations Assistant is a part-time, entry-level member of our livestream team, focused on the hands-on execution of live sessions and day-to-day platform support across our sales channels.

This is a part-time role with flexible scheduling. Hours are assigned based on livestream demand and will typically range between 15 and 35 hours per week. Our broadcast windows are primarily concentrated in the mornings, evenings, and on weekends — this is when our audience is most active, and when the work happens. Evening and weekend availability is a regular part of the rotation.

This is an entry-level position and a great way to build hands-on experience in livestream e-commerce operations. Recent graduates and students are encouraged to apply.

** Key Responsibilities**

Livestream Execution & On-Air Support (Core Focus)

  • Assist in running live sessions — supporting show pacing, product flow, and audience engagement under the direction of the Operations Specialist or Team Leader.
  • Verify that product listings, pricing, and inventory details are accurately prepared before each broadcast.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and inbound teams ahead of each show to confirm product readiness.
  • Manage assigned morning, evening, and weekend sessions, following established operational standards and escalating issues as needed.

Platform Operations Support

  • Assist with platform backend tasks across Whatnot, TikTok, and Shopify — including listings, tagging, pricing updates, and basic cross-platform synchronization.
  • Proactively flag and report platform-level issues to the Specialist or Team Leader.

Performance Tracking

  • Monitor and record key performance metrics during each broadcast, including concurrent viewer counts, engagement trends, and GMV per hour, using company-provided templates.
  • Compile post-stream notes and assist with weekly data collection as directed.

Team Support & Communication

  • Support the operational link between the host, warehouse, and marketing teams before and after each broadcast.
  • Communicate proactively and flag time-sensitive issues to the appropriate team member.
  • Participate in team check-ins and follow through on assigned action items.

Note: The specific dimensions and responsibilities of this role may be adjusted in the future based on changes in actual work requirements and business needs.

** Job Requirements**

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's program in Business, Marketing, Operations, or a related field. No prior professional experience required.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, real-time environment.
  • Basic familiarity with Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Familiarity with AI productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) is a plus.
  • Clear communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
  • Must be available and willing to work mornings, evenings, and weekends in accordance with the team livestream schedule.
  • A genuine interest in e-commerce, livestream retail, or digital operations is a strong plus.

** Compensation & Benefits**

  • Hourly rate: $20.00/hr (before 9:00 PM) | $25.00/hr (9:00 PM and after)
  • Part-time, flexible schedule: 15–35 hours per week based on livestream demand
  • Hands-on exposure to cutting-edge livestream e-commerce operations
  • Collaborative, energetic, and fast-growing team culture
