OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR – ENTRY LEVEL


Location: New York City / NYC Area
Position: Full-Time
Experience: Entry Level – Training Provided

We are a small, established janitorial and building services company looking for a motivated and dependable Entry-Level Operations Supervisor to join our team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, responsible, enjoys working with people, and is interested in building a career in janitorial operations and facility management.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must speak Spanish and English
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between client locations
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working with employees and clients
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and professional
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills, including email and Microsoft Office
  • Previous janitorial or supervisory experience is a MUST
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours when needed

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Operations Supervisor will assist with the day-to-day operations of our cleaning accounts, including:

  • Supervising and supporting cleaning staff at client locations
  • Conducting site inspections and quality-control checks
  • Making sure employees are following cleaning schedules and company procedures
  • Assisting with employee scheduling and coverage
  • Communicating with clients regarding service needs and concerns
  • Addressing operational issues and reporting them to management
  • Training and assisting new employees
  • Checking supplies and equipment at job sites
  • Taking photos and preparing basic reports when required
  • Assisting management with daily operational needs
  • Traveling between multiple job sites throughout NYC

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone who is responsible, hands-on, organized, and willing to learn.

The ideal candidate does not need years of supervisory experience. We are willing to train the right person who has a strong work ethic, good communication skills, and the desire to grow with a small company.
