Job Description:

The Operations Analyst position provides operational and administrative support within the Microsoft 365 environment, with a primary focus on Exchange Online and enterprise messaging services. This role is responsible for ensuring the availability, security, and compliance of email and messaging solutions that support business communication and user productivity.The position focuses heavily on the enduser Exchange experience (mailboxes, mail flow, client connectivity), while also collaborating across the broader Microsoft 365 platform to identify, implement, and support messagingrelated features that deliver business value. The role works closely with security and compliance stakeholders to ensure Exchange configurations align with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices.To be considered for this hybrid role, you must be in a commutable distance to Minnetonka, MN. We require a minimum 2 days a week in office.
Some of the responsibilities may include:
  • Administer, monitor, and support the Microsoft 365 Exchange Online environment, including mailboxes, mail flow, and messaging services
  • Implement and manage changes to Exchange Online and related M365 messaging features, ensuring stability and minimal user impact
  • Serve as a Tier 3 escalation point for Exchange-related incidents, service requests, and complex messaging issues, performing root-cause analysis and resolution
  • Monitor service health and messaging performance, responding to routine and critical incidents affecting email services
  • Implement and enforce security and compliance controls related to Exchange Online, including policies supporting organizational security standards and regulatory requirements
  • Integrate and support mail flow tools and integrations such as Mimecast, Sendgrid, and Redsift
EXPERTISE: Associate-level position for individuals with the aptitude, educational background, or related work experience to begin a career in platform analysis, administration and development.EXPERIENCE: 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.TECHNICAL SKILLS:
  • Exchange Online administration (mailboxes, shared mailboxes, resources, contacts, mail users)
  • Exchange Admin Center (EAC) usage and configuration
  • Mail flow management (connectors, transport rules, message tracing)
  • SMTP fundamentals and mail routing concepts
  • Hybrid Exchange configurations (onprem + Exchange Online coexistence)
  • Mailbox migrations (cutover, staged, hybrid, crosstenant as applicable)
Educational Requirements: Recent graduate of a related degree or certification program; or a demonstrable skill, aptitude or ability; or some prior, related work experience resulting in the ability to fulfill the entry-level responsibilities of the position.

Position's Pay Range:

$60,000 - $85,000
