Position Title: Nutrition Services Aide
Position Summary: Responsible for the safe delivery of food and services to customer and/or patients in a timely manner. Maintains sanitation standards throughout the department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Accurate and efficient on all trained positions in cafeteria; patient trayline; patient services area; call center; and dishroom.

  • Follows sanitation guidelines

  • Accurate and efficient service of customers/patients

  • Able to perform duties in an accurate and timely manner

  • Restocks inventory per par levels including coolers and trays

  • Records information on appropriate documents

  • Ensures working station area is clean and sanitized

  • Promotes a clean and safe environment of care.

  • Provides the highest standard of privacy and confidentiality in matters involving patients, coworkers, and the hospital by abiding by Standards of Conduct.

Required Qualifications:
Education and Training:
  • High School or equivalent preferred or currently attending High School

  • Food Handler certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire

  • Entry level or food service preferred

  • Good customer relations

  • Able and willing to follow instructions
