Shift: Day - 8x5 - 09AM
Job Summary:
The Occupational Therapist assesses, plans, and delivers therapeutic interventions to help patients develop, recover, or maintain the skills needed for daily living and working.
The OT works with patients of all ages who have physical, developmental, neurological, or emotional challenges, aiming to improve their independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify functional limitations and therapy needs.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
Implement occupational therapy interventions to improve motor, sensory, cognitive, and daily living skills.
Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, adaptive techniques, and the use of assistive devices.
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as required.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Collaborate with physicians, physiotherapists, speech therapists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals.
Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications to improve patient independence.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
Ensure compliance with clinical standards, infection control protocols, and organizational policies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
Valid registration/license with the relevant professional council or regulatory authority (as applicable).
Relevant clinical experience is preferred; fresh graduates may also apply for entry-level positions.
