The Role:
We are seeking a dynamic, clinically grounded, and product-driven leader to serve as Associate Director of Product Management - Neuro. This role leads the strategic direction, roadmap execution, and cross-functional integration of Viz.ai's Neuro Suite, with immediate focus on stroke and acute neurovascular conditions, and future expansion into neurodegenerative diseases.
The ideal candidate brings a rare blend of real-world clinical experience, digital health product management, and commercialization expertise. You will collaborate across clinical, engineering, UX, and marketing teams to design solutions that are deeply embedded in clinical workflows and aligned with real-world implementation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Product Strategy & Development
  • Own the roadmap for Viz.ai's Neuro Suite, from ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke to aneurysm, SDH, ICH, and future neurodegenerative care pathways including new advanced EHR integrated features like chart summarization, noting and ambient listening
  • Translate clinical needs into elegant, scalable software solutions for care coordination
  • Partner with inbound product, engineering, UX, and clinical teams to prioritize features that improve detection, triage, and downstream treatment planning
  • Ground decisions in data, clinical evidence, regulatory awareness, and user empathy

Clinical Insight & Pathway Design
  • Bring hands-on knowledge of hospital operations, stroke program coordination, or neurosurgery/perioperative workflows to every decision
  • Lead discovery with clinical stakeholders, understanding unmet needs from the bedside to the boardroom
  • Maintain strong relationships with clinicians, neuro KOLs, and advisory boards to ensure clinical relevance and validation

Commercialization & Go-to-Market Strategy
  • Collaborate with product marketing to define positioning and messaging tailored to neuro audiences
  • Contribute to GTM strategy for SaaS product launches, including market segmentation, pilot programs, and value narratives
  • Enable field teams through internal training and cross-functional alignment
  • Support customer discovery, conference presence, and competitive insights

About You - Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years in healthcare technology, with 3+ years of SaaS product management experience in digital health or care coordination platforms
  • 3+ years of direct experience launching digital or SaaS healthcare products into clinical markets
  • 5+ years Real-world clinical or hospital experience is required: stroke coordinator, neuroscience program manager, neuro OR, or quality/process improvement in neuro settings
  • Proven record of translating clinical workflows into successful software products
  • Deep understanding of multi-specialty care coordination in neurology or related domains
  • Strong product execution skills and stakeholder collaboration across engineering, UX, clinical, and commercial functions
  • Familiarity with interoperability standards (e.g., FHIR, HL7), FDA-regulated environments, and EMR integrations

Bonus Qualifications
  • Background in bedside nursing, perioperative neurosurgery, or stroke program management
  • Experience leading launches of regulated AI/ML-powered healthcare software
  • Master's degree in healthcare leadership, nursing, public health, or related fields
