Entry-Level Staff Accountant — Automotive Dealership
Passport Automotive Group

Join a fast‑growing automotive dealership and launch your accounting career. We’re looking for a recent accounting graduate who’s ready to apply their education in a real‑world, high‑volume retail environment. If you’re detail‑driven, organized, and eager to learn dealership accounting, this is a strong starting point with long‑term growth potential.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support daily accounting operations across multiple departments
  • Process AP/AR, bank deposits, and account reconciliations
  • Assist with schedule maintenance and monthly financial statement preparation
  • Review deal jackets for accuracy and compliance
  • Work closely with the Controller and Office Manager to learn dealership accounting workflows
  • Help maintain accurate records for inventory, flooring, and manufacturer statements
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Proficiency with Excel; familiarity with dealership DMS systems is a plus (CDK, Reynolds, Dealertrack, etc.)
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced retail environment
