Description:
People & Organizational Development is looking for a dynamic, organized, self-starter for a position in our Central Office in Nashville who will assist the transactions, employee relations, and administrative teams.
The position requires excellent customer services skills to support both internal and external customers. Job duties include a focus on generating data reports, research, entering transactions, and utilizing digital filing software to manage employee records. This position will utilize the HRIS system and Microsoft office suite daily. Currently, TDEC employees are working in alternative workspaces from their home with the flexibility to have scheduled time in their assigned office.
Preferred candidates will have 2-5 years' experience working in Human Resources or a bachelor's degree in business or human resources.
Highlighted Responsibilities
• Monitors and uploads all employee files into the electronic filing system
• Runs report queries for a variety of HR areas weekly.
• Serves as an aid in completing security forms.
• Serves as an aid for onboarding needs.
• Conducts research regarding employee's prior service.
• Monitors inboxes and routes emails.
• Enters HR transactions into Edison.
• Serves as an aid in performance management during the completion of the cycle in July.
• Assists with other projects as requested.
• Serves as a back-up to the administrative team.
