Summary

We are seeking an entrepreneurial and high‑drive HR Analyst to join our team in Summit, NJ, to help build our people analytics function from the ground up. In this role, you will consolidate our current workforce data, optimize our HR systems, and design clear reporting tools for our nationwide workforce. As a member of our HR team, you will serve as a culture‑carrier who maintains our Simplicity Culture and ensures the office operates with the highest standards of compliance, efficiency and professionalism.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Operational Excellence: Maintain high standards of efficiency, accuracy, and professionalism across all departmental workflows and data tracking.
  • System Review: Audit our existing HR tools to help design and implement a structured HR Analytics reporting strategy.
  • Data Maintenance: Standardize data‑entry rules and cleaning protocols to ensure our nationwide employee records are accurate and reliable.
  • Dashboard Creation: Assist in building and maintaining automated dashboards to provide leadership with regular workforce metrics.
  • Workforce Reporting: Track and report on key workforce trends across employee lifecycle, such as retention, turnover, and hiring metrics. Lead HR data reporting required per state and federal regulations.
  • Systems Optimization: Partner with internal teams to maximize our HRIS and ATS setups, ensuring they cleanly capture the data points needed for routine reporting.
  • Data Presentation: Organize data into clear, visually scannable charts and summaries for executive review.
  • Audit & Compliance: Help with any compliance reporting needed to ensure our records remain accurate and audit‑ready.
  • Any additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Data Analytics, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field, preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in HR Analytics, HR Systems, or People Operations.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, cleaning, and formula building.
  • Familiarity with building visual charts or dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
  • Basic understanding of how data fields pass between HRIS and ATS platforms.
  • Impeccable professional discretion and a proven ability to handle highly sensitive employee information and salary data.
  • Strong organizational skills and the drive to work independently on assigned data projects.

Compensation (based on experience)
  • Base Salary: $75,000-$85,000 annually.
  • This is an Exempt position.
  • Annual Performance Bonus Target: 5%.
