Job Summary
Southern Industrial Constructors, INC. is seeking a HR Coordinator based out of the Raleigh, NC office. The HR Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources team, helping ensure HR programs, employee records, compliance activities, and training initiatives are organized, accurate, and executed with a high level of follow-through. This role is responsible for coordinating administrative processes, maintaining HR documentation, tracking compliance requirements, supporting training logistics, and assisting with onboarding activities. The successful candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and takes ownership of assigned responsibilities from start to finish.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary administrator for HR personnel records and document management systems, including pVault and other designated repositories.
  • Upload, organize, maintain, and manage personnel documentation and HR records in accordance with company requirements.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure timely updates related to employee status changes, including terminations.
  • Administer, assign, and track required compliance training through Flex by Novara and other company training platforms.
  • Monitor compliance training completion requirements and follow up with employees and managers as needed.
  • Maintain HR compliance-related documentation and training records.
  • Coordinate administrative aspects of compliance initiatives and reporting activities.
  • Coordinate logistics for leadership development programs, HR training events, open enrollment support, and other employee development initiatives.
  • Manage training schedules, communications, attendance tracking, meeting space reservations, travel arrangements, materials, catering, and related logistics.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual training programs across multiple locations.
  • Assist the HR Generalist with onboarding-related administrative activities, including document collection, materials preparation, scheduling support, and onboarding communications as assigned.
  • Manage company swag inventory, ordering, distribution, and replenishment.
  • Prepare and submit invoices, purchase requests, expense reports, and supporting documentation as needed.
  • Assist HR Management Team with administrative projects, special projects, department initiatives, and day-to-day support needs.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information.

Qualifications

Preferred Education and/or Experience
  • One plus (1+) year of administrative, coordinator, or human resources support experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting training logistics, document management, compliance tracking, or office administration preferred.

Computer Skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Ability to learn and utilize HR-related systems including pVault, iCIMS, Smartsheet, Flex by Novara, Vista Viewpoint, and other business applications.
  • Ability to maintain accurate data, organize electronic records, and manage documentation in shared systems.
