Job description

As Front Desk Staff, you'll be the first point of contact for members and guests. You'll help manage daily check-ins, answer inquiries, handle reservations, and support the overall customer experience. We're looking for friendly, reliable, and somewhat tech-savvy team players who are passionate about sports, fitness, and excellent service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and check in members and guests in a friendly, professional manner
  • Answer phones, respond to emails, and provide information about programs, bookings, and memberships
  • Assist with court reservations, event sign-ups, and POS transactions
  • Keep the front desk and lobby area clean and organized
  • Open or close the facility depending on shift assignment
  • Monitor activity and enforce facility rules and safety policies
  • Support staff and coaches during events, clinics, and tournaments
  • Assist with basic administrative duties as assigned
  • Make sure locker rooms/bathrooms are clean and picked up. No major cleaning responsibilities, though.

Qualifications

  • Customer service or front desk experience preferred
  • Comfortable with computers, reservation systems, and payment processing
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Friendly, team-oriented, and dependable
  • Ability to multitask in a busy environment
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Must be 18 years or older

Bonus if You Have

  • Experience in a sports or recreation environment
  • Knowledge of tennis or pickleball
  • current TIPS certification
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to get certified)
