Blizzard Entertainment is looking for a focused, detail-oriented Capture Artist with a post-production or design background to temporarily support our Content & Live Broadcast team.In this role, you'll capture high-quality gameplay footage across Blizzard franchises, supporting a wide range of content needs including marketing campaigns, social media, live broadcasts, esports programming, and special events. Working closely with producers, editors, and creative stakeholders, you'll help ensure captured footage meets the visual, technical, and storytelling needs of each project.

The ideal candidate has previous video game capture experience in a fast-paced production company, broadcast environment, or post-production facility. They are a motivated storyteller who is flexible, highly organized, and can adapt quickly to changing goals and objectives. The successful candidate will gain valuable experience working as part of the marketing team and contribute to exciting projects across multiple Blizzard IP, Esports, and BlizzCon.

NOTE: This is an anticipated temporary assignment through October 16, 2026. Only remote candidates based within the United States will be considered, provided they are able to work primarily within West Coast time zone hours (9am - 6pm PST).

This is a contingent worker position and will be staffed through Volt, a staffing and workforce management company.

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-game video capture for a growing list of Blizzard franchises, including World of Warcraft and Diablo, with an eye for in-game cinematography and strong visual storytelling.

  • Adapt to feedback from stakeholders to ensure high-quality footage and find creative solutions to content needs.

  • Follow stakeholder guidelines to ensure all externally produced files are gathered, organized, and archived internally once completed.

  • Manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of quality, consistency, and attention to detail.

  • Incorporate feedback and adapt capture approaches to meet evolving project needs and creative goals.

Minimum Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in gameplay capture, video editing, motion graphics, animation, post-production, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated experience capturing gameplay footage for video games, entertainment, broadcast, or digital content productions.

  • Highly organized with good technical knowledge of gaming engines.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and an artistic sense.

  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced production environment.

  • Proactive and flexible approach to work; comfortable with changing goals and objectives.

  • Strong understanding of video production workflows and asset management practices.

  • Excellent knowledge of video editing software.

  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative applications.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $21.99 - $40.67 Hourly. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations.
