Job Summary:

Provide project support to internal pre-media team. To prepare files for internal and external manufacturing at the expected level of quality.


Job Description:

  • Follow company security policy and asset management protocol.
  • Follow directions by way of production assembly ticket instructions.
  • Enter and edit production assembly ticket instructions.
  • Adhere to job schedule and time keeping procedures.
  • Preflight client files.
  • Troubleshoot and problem solve file issues as they relate to desktop publishing and printing.
  • Perform various upload and download tasks.
  • Perform Xerox outputs and rule ups.
  • Adhere to ongoing and established quality assurance procedures.
  • Verification of assembled prepress files (dimensions, color, mechanical) and/or planning imposition layouts before moving files to the production floor or for uploads to other print vendors.
  • Ensure that approved color, content, and comps are in the job bag before moving job bags into production.
  • Send PDF emails for job approvals.
  • Download photos from the department camera and maintain the photo library.
  • Maintain organizational structure of GF template library, not limited to but including posting company spec sheets.
  • Continual training to maintain a skill level that is above what is needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Pay Rate

$30 - $37


Pay Statement

The national pay range for this role is listed in the job posting. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program. Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS OF POSITION

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree
  • Minimum 2 years professional prepress experience.

  • Understanding of variable data processing.

  • Diverse understanding of the graphic arts industry as it applies to pre-medica, offset litho/silkscreen print, large format digital printing, retail display and new technologies.
