Overview

CTG is seeking to fill a Document Custodian Reviewer opening for our client in Buffalo, NY.

Location: Buffalo, NY
Duration: 12 months with possible extension or potential to be converted to Full time

Pay: $18/hr

Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Document Custodian Reviewer to join our team. In this entry-level role, you will be responsible for reviewing documents from institutional clients, identifying exceptions, and ensuring compliance with established guidelines.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct basic data matching of documents according to agency guidelines or custodial agreements for non-agency documents.
  • Match data in the Document Custody tracking system to original documents.
  • Determine if documents are originals or copies and update the tracking system accordingly.
  • Follow established review criteria and procedures to ensure accuracy.
  • Document exceptions found during reviews and update the tracking system.
  • Adhere to company risk and regulatory standards, identifying issues for escalation to management.
  • Promote diversity and reflect the company's brand in all interactions.
  • Maintain internal control standards, implementing audit points and addressing any issues raised by regulators.
  • Complete other related duties as assigned.

Scope of Responsibilities:

  • Review and assess a high volume of documents for compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records in the Document Custody tracking system.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:

  • This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Associate's degree, OR
  • A combined minimum of 2 years higher education and/or work experience in a related field.
  • Proficiency in personal computers and email software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good alpha/numeric skills and demonstrated organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Education and Experience Preferred:

  • Ability to work under time constraints while maintaining accuracy.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to lift 30 - 50 pounds.
  • Able to climb on a ladder and/or stool and bend for filing.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
