Job Description

KLDiscovery, a leading global provider of electronic discovery, information governance and data recovery services, is seeking actively licensed U.S. attorneys for ongoing remote Document Review projects. This role is ideal for attorneys who want an environment where they are respected and valued, and want to gain hands-on experience with the discovery process across a variety of litigation matters.

Document Reviewers will review documents for complex litigation matters using an electronic review platform to code for relevancy, confidentiality, and privilege. This position is project-based, and successful candidates will be considered temporary contingent employees.

Responsibilities

  • Review and code documents using review platforms such as Relativity and Nebula
  • Identify and apply privilege, confidentiality, and responsiveness coding
  • Conduct quality control checks as needed
  • Assist with privilege log and redaction log preparation
  • Follow detailed project instructions
  • Meet or exceed pace and accuracy expectations
  • Work independently in a secure remote environment
  • Maintain reliable attendance, communication, and timekeeping

Qualifications

  • Active U.S. law license in good standing required.
  • Must reside in Connecticut, New Jersey, or New York; candidates that reside in DC and are licensed in DC also qualify.
  • Electronic document review experience preferred (Nebula, Relativity, responsiveness, confidentiality, privilege review, issue coding, privilege logging).
  • Team Lead or QC experience is desired.
  • Secure home office with high-speed internet.
  • Computer running Windows 11 (23H2, 24H2, 25H2 or newer) — Windows 11 in S Mode not supported — or MacOS Sonoma (14), Sequoia (15), Tahoe (26) or newer.
  • Apple or Android phone/tablet running iOS 17+ or Android 12+; Google Authenticator compatible with iOS 14+ or Android 6+.
  • Strong proficiency with computers and remote-work technology.
  • Excellent attention to detail, critical thinking, and ability to follow complex instructions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
