Job description

KLDiscovery, one of the largest national eDiscovery providers, is seeking experienced attorneys to support an upcoming litigation. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-profile matter involving complex legal and social dynamics. 

This role is a contract-based position which requires work on-site in New York City and offers competitive hourly compensation. The duration of the project is expected to be several months, with the possibility of extension based on case developments and performance.

We are seeking attorneys with document review experience and excellent writing and comprehension skills. A writing sample is required.

Project Details:

  • Location: New York City - ON SITE
  • Anticipated Start Date: June 2026
  • Duration: 1 Year, Subject to Change
  • Pay Rate $48 to $59 Per Hour, based on experience

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct document review and analysis
  • Perform legal research and draft memoranda
  • Assist with discovery-related tasks
  • Potentially defend depositions (for candidates with relevant experience)

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Admission to practice law in New York State
  • Federal court admission (SDNY or EDNY) is a plus but not required
  • Prior document review experience required
  • Prior experience in litigation preferred
  • Strong legal writing and analytical skills
  • Ability to work onsite in New York City
