Job description

Collect and review data to determine costs of manufactured activity, including raw material purchases inventory, and labor.
 
Assist the Cost Accountant with reports and maintenance of the cost accounting system.  Analyze variances between standard and actual costs.
 
Analyze changes in product design, raw materials and manufacturing methods to determine the effect on the overall cost of the product.
 
Conduct physical inventories and reconcile raw material, work in process (WIP) and finished goods inventories.
 
Assist with month-end close of the General Ledger.
 
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or the equivalent is required.  Must have strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel.
 
Some Saturdays will be required.
 
MIN/MAX: $20 to $25
