Cost Accountant - $25/Hr.
This position is temporary with an opportunity to be hired full-time.
Integrity Trade Services is hiring an Cost Accountant for our steel support and fabrication client to start immediately, starting at $25/hour, depending on experience. Receive comprehensive benefits through ITS upon hire!
Responsibilities:
The Cost Accountant will be responsible for analyzing manufacturing costs, preparing cost reports, maintaining cost accounting systems, and providing accurate financial insights to support pricing, budgeting, and operational decision-making.
  • Analyze and monitor manufacturing and operational cost
  • Prepare cost estimates, standard costs, and variance analysis reports
  • Maintain cost accounting systems, including inventory valuation and overhead allocation
  • Work with production and purchasing teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and control
  • Assist in budget preparation and forecasting related to production costs
  • Reconcile inventory accounts and support periodic physical inventories
  • Provide insight and analysis on profitability, cost trends, and margin improvement
  • Support audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
  • Will use Microsoft Dynamics 2016 daily for work duties.

Location: Sellersburg, IN
Schedule/Shift Details:
  • Monday-Friday
  • 7:00am-3:30pm

Qualifications:
  • Must have proficient experience with Microsoft Dynamics 2016
  • Must have experience utilizing other Microsoft Office products
  • Must have accounting and billing experience
  • Must have experience entering data
  • Must have a strong history of Customer Service
  • Must have a friendly and positive attitude
