BAUER Equipment America is a leading global provider of foundation equipment and support to the foundation construction industry. We have offices and dealer network with locations throughout the United States. Recognized for its technological advances and innovation, BAUER Equipment America represents BAUER Maschinen across North and Central America. We are headquartered in Conroe, Texas and we operate a facility in Livermore, California.


We are looking for a Junior Cost Accountant for our Conroe, TX location. This position would report to the Cost Accounting Team Lead.


SCOPE and PURPOSE


Applies accepted procedures to the preparation and maintenance of financial and business transaction data. 


RESPONSIBILITIES


Ensures company's compliance with the BAUER group's cost accounting standards, US GAAP and IFRS

Prepare budgets/ reporting/ forecasts/ deviation and ad-hoc data analysis.

Process documentation 

Process Accounts payable invoices

Bill customers invoices daily

Create internal JE for service billings

Month end reporting 

Monitoring and evaluation of work in progress

Ensure accurate and timely billing of the finished products

Monitor and evaluate the inventory used in production

Clarification on commercial production related issues

Participate in commercial improvement projects and advice senior management on production related performance increasing/ money-saving strategies

Other projects or tasks assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

1. Education and Training -Highschool diploma required, some college required

2. Technical Requirements - Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel. Intermediate SAP knowledge. Able to: apply reasoning to solve practical problems; interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagrammatic, or schedule form; multi-task in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent communication skills; practically apply fractions, percentages, ration and proportion, practical algebra, geometric construction, and essentials of trigonometry.

3. Experience - 1-3 years of directly related training and/or experience.

4. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, sit, kneel, crawl, see, read, hear, have the physical and mental ability to travel independently and the physical and mental ability to comply with customary workshop, office, job site work environments, safety requirements and other customary regulations and requirements in these environments.
