COST ACCOUNTANT RESPONSIBILITIES:

Job responsibilities for this position will include but are not limited to:
    Accounts Payable & Receiving
    Operational Tracking & Reporting
    Preparation of monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
    Development and maintenance of standard costs
    Assist in the quarterly forecasting and bi-annual budgeting processes
    AG & Grower Accounting
    Assist Plant Controller on: 
o    Costing and Analysis Projects
o    Raw Product Scale Support
o    Payroll
o    On-Boarding of Seasonal Staff
QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior work experience is not required but preferred in Accounting or Inventory. Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field desired:
    Demonstrated general knowledge of financial accounting procedures is required.
    Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word skills
    Must possess exceptional thoughtful and analytical skills, diligent with high attention to detail.
    Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated, well organized.
    Agile and open to change.
    Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
    Ability to work independently, effectively handle multiple competing priorities and manage deadlines under pressure. Resourceful!
    Strong project and time management skills.
    Proven ability to develop strong partnerships and influence at all levels of the organization. Must be collegial, with high integrity, and a team player.

Starting wage range based on skills, abilities and experience from $65K to $72K
