Hyundai-Mobis Parts Miami (MPMI), LLC, a subsidiary of Hyundai MOBIS, is a Tier 1 OEM genuine auto parts and accessories supplier to Hyundai, Kia and Genesis distributors throughout the South American, Central American, and Caribbean markets. We are currently seeking a Brand Protection Analyst to join our Miami, FL team.

The Brand Protection Analyst under direction of the Marketing Manager will be responsible for data analysis, KPI tracking, and insights generation to support brand protection activities across the MPMI region, including South America, Central America, and the Caribbean for Hyundai, Kia and Genesis brands. This position ensures consistent enforcement actions, case tracking, and alignment with MHQ brand integrity guidelines and REACT enforcement protocols.

Additionally, the role will support Marketing Order Processing activities, dedicating approximately 70% of time to Brand Protection and 30% to Marketing Order Processing tasks. The position requires strong analytical skills, timely follow-up on cases, coordination with internal and external stakeholders, and effective documentation and reporting.

SUMMARY:

  • Proactively conduct monthly data analysis and research across all MPMI-managed countries in South America and the Caribbean using Datasur as a main source to identify parallel importers and grey market operators impacting Hyundai and Kia brands, providing input to REACT.
  • Provide an annual list of authorized importers and maintain monthly updates of grey importers, ensuring accurate data tracking and reporting to REACT and its legal partners to ensure this information reaches the appropriate local authorities.
  • Monitor online cases reported by REACT and apply MHQ-provided criteria to identify genuine vs. counterfeit products, and incorporating data analysis to identify patterns and anomalies. Coordinate as needed with the MHQ Brand Protection Specialist.
  • Maintain continuous tracking of all cases, ensuring data accuracy, structured documentation, and reporting of actions, status, and outcomes.
  • Receive brand protection leads from REACT, distributors, and other channels, and ensure proper follow-up and data-based tracking as part of the Lead Management process.
  • Support the achievement of the objectives and commitments defined during the Pan-LATAM Joint Meeting 2024 through structured data tracking, reporting, structured follow-up and communication.
  • Maintain and update the Brand Protection Master File and ensure all case documentation, evidence, communications, and tracking data are properly archived.
  • Support enhanced enforcement activities across the region through data insights and coordination with REACT, customs authorities, and internal stakeholders.

Project & Activity Management

  • Execute and support the Brand Protection Activity Strategy, ensuring alignment with regional priorities and stakeholder’s expectations through data-driven insights.
  • Create and maintain a Power BI dashboard using Datasur data to generate structured KPIs, dashboards, and performance reports for MPMI management, MHQ, subsidiaries, and distributors.
  • Provide management with periodic progress updates and data driven insights derived from KPIs, enforcement activity, and regional monitoring trends.

Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly KPI reports, as well as presentations required by management, ensuring clear data visualization and insights for decision making.
  • Ensure feedback is provided to distributors regarding the status and outcomes of the leads they submit, supported by accurate data tracking and reporting.
  • Coordinate monthly training sessions with REACT and coordinate at least 2 webinars per year for the distributor network incorporating data backed insights to enhance awareness.
  • Ensure the monthly receipt and processing of invoices related to brand protection enforcement and support services, including coordination of timely payments

Marketing Team Support: Order Processing (30%)

  • Support processing of marketing orders according to department guidelines ensuring data accuracy and proper tracking.
  • Assist with documentation, system entries, shipment follow-up, and order accuracy checks, and maintaining structured data records
  • Coordinate with distributors and internal teams to ensure timely processing and delivery, supported by clear tracking and reporting mechanisms.

Nonessential Functions

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience and Education

  • Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, Imports/Exports, Business Law or a related field.
  • 5+ year experience preferable in areas such as: data analysis, SCM, logistics/import-export, business intelligence
  • Prior internship experience in a corporate environment is beneficial

Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI
  • Strong data analysis capabilities with attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, follow-ups, and documentation requirements.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
  • Effective communication skills to interact with MHQ, REACT, distributors, subsidiaries, and internal team.

Proactive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and processes.

Physical Demands

  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50%.
  • Travel is required 25-50%
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds chest high
