Job description

Job Summary
The Staff Accountant reports to our Accounting Manager and will be responsible for processing high volume Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including client invoicing of labor, expenses and construction costs, in an accurate and timely manner.
Responsibilities, but not limited to
  • General ledger journal entries
  • Timesheet and employee expense report review and processing
  • Project cost reconciliation and reporting
  • Financial statement preparation assistance
  • Other ongoing miscellaneous accounting tasks as needed
About You
  • BA/BS degree with Accounting/Finance emphasis or accounting experience in a business environment
  • 1-2 staff accountant internship experiences
  • Solid understanding/experience of basic accounting process
  • Experience in General ledger journal entries, Project cost reconciliation and reporting, financial statement preparation assistance
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Positive and proactive attitude as well as an ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with colleagues at all levels of the organization
  • Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills
