What you’ll do

As the accountant, you’ll refine the the day-to-day accounting processes by preparing for audits, reconciliations, general accounting and balancing the ledger. The Staff Accountant serves as an integral part of the accounting team and is responsible for maintaining a high level of production while consistently producing accurate output. This position will work closely with the department manager.

In this role, you’ll also:

  • Assist the department manager in reconciling and preparing supporting schedules for month end close
  • Prepare AR reconciliations
  • Reconcile monthly bank statements
  • Cross train on critical duties to provide back up to the Manager of Accounting
  • Budget and forecast
  • Prepare financial information requests
  • Update and develop various schedules as necessary during year-end auditing period
  • Assist with additional accounting related functions as needed
