Job description

Position: Associate Attorney - Real Estate/ Landlord Tenant Litigation (NY)

Location: 42 Broadway, Suite 1744, New York, NY 10004

The Price Law Firm is seeking a highly motivated, high-energy Associate Attorney for our demanding Real Estate and Landlord/Tenant Litigation practice in Lower Manhattan (42 Broadway). Ideal for a licensed attorney eager to gain rapid courtroom experience. Candidates must be licensed in NY.

The position will require you to make court appearances several days each week.

This is a fast-paced, court-heavy role requiring a strong desire to be in court daily.

Key Focus & Responsibilities

  • Daily Court Appearances: Handle calendar calls, argue motions, and progress toward conducting trials and inquests in Landlord/Tenant and Civil/Supreme matters.
  • Legal Drafting: Draft all litigation documents, including pleadings, motions, opposition papers, and appeals.
  • Case Management: Handle all phases of litigation, client communication, due diligence, and high-volume data entry/case preparation.
  • Transactional Support: Assist with drafting/reviewing contracts for sales, purchases, and leases (as needed).

Must-Haves

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to the NY State Bar (REQUIRED).
  • Strong interest in NY Real Estate Law.
  • Self-starter, professional communicator, and able to multi-task in a high-volume setting.
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn/be in court are a must.
